I kayak, bike ride or run every day and now successfully compete in multisport events with friends which means I can keep in touch while keeping fit.
Recently, I volunteered with the Great Escapade Bike Ride 2013 organised by Bicycle Network Victoria. This years’ ride went from Launceston down the East Coast of Tasmania to Port Arthur. I was inspired by the many older riders and volunteers taking part. The oldest rider was 81 years old! The oldest volunteer was also in his 80s.
